RRC WR Sports Requirement invites ONLINE applications from the eligible sports persons who are citizens of India, for filling up 21 posts of group ‘C’ and 43 (erstwhile Group ‘D’) posts of group ‘D’ of the Sports Quota (as in item 2) for the year 2024-25 over Western Railway. There is no reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025) :
- Minimum 18 years
- Maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2025.
- Candidates born between 02/01/2000 and 01/01/2007 (both days inclusive) should only apply.

Educational Qualification:

| Level 5/4 | Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. |
| Level 3/2 | Aspirants must have cleared class 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution or Passed Matriculation from a recognized Board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship. Those who have passed matriculation from a recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT are also eligible to apply. |
| Level 1 | Candidates must have passed class 10th or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution or they must possess National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. |
Selection Procedure :
All eligible candidates will be called for trial and after trial, only the FIT candidates (securing 25 or more, out of 40 marks for Game skill, physical fitness and coach’s observations during trial) shall be assessed for next stage of recruitment. Candidates declared NOT FIT by the Trial Committee will not be assessed further by the Recruitment Committee.

- Candidates should be prepared to attend trials on short notice after the application deadline. The selection committee’s decisions on eligibility, application acceptance, or rejection are final, and no further inquiries will be entertained.
