JEE Advanced Examination Schedule: The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (or JEE Advanced is a national level engineering entrance exam conducted by the seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) under the guidance of Joint Admission Board (JAB). The examination is conducted every year for admission to the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). To appear for JEE Advanced examination candidates first need to qualify JEE Main exam which is the preliminary level exam for JEE Advanced examination

JEE Advanced 2022 Application Process | JEE Advanced Examination Schedule
Step 1: Registration
- Indian Students can register for the JEE Advanced using their JEE Main Roll No. and password.
- Foreign candidates can directly fill the online registration form and note down their Login Ids and passwords for future use.
Step 2: Upload Documents
All candidates need to upload scanned copies of required documents. The list of the documents that need to be uploaded is mentioned below for the candidate’s reference.

Step 3: Application Fee

JEE Advanced 2022 Exam Pattern
JEE Advanced Examination has gone completely online from the year 2018 onwards so there might be some changes in the exam pattern. However, the exam pattern for the JEE Advanced is not fixed or released; it keeps on changing every year. Candidates can check the previous year papers to get a hang of the kind of questions that are asked in the paper. Some important details about the exam pattern that students should keep in mind are as follows:
- JEE (Advanced) 2020 will consist of two question papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2 of three hours duration each. Both papers are compulsory.
- Each question paper will consist of three separate sections, viz., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The question papers will consist of objective type (multiple choice and/or numerical answer type) questions designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
- Negative marks may be awarded for incorrect answers of some of the questions. Details of the marking scheme will be provided in the “Instructions to Candidates” section at the time of examination.
- The candidates must carefully read and adhere to the detailed instructions given in the question papers available at the time of examination.
- The question papers will be in English and Hindi languages. The candidates will have the option to choose (and also switch between) the preferred language anytime during the examination.
