The Commission is not verifying any original documents for admission of the candidates to the examinations. The candidates are admitted to the examination provisionally based on the information submitted by them along with declaration. The originals are to be verified by the appointing authority concerned for validation of the candidature before issue of appointment order. Hence the candidature shall remain provisional till validation by the appointing authority.
Plan of Examination – Odisha Forest Guard
The recruitment process shall consist of the following stages:

Physical Standard Measurement Test
All eligible candidates shall have to appear the physical standard measurement tests before the District Level Physical Test Board constituted for the purpose in their respective districts for which they have given their choices in the application. Those who do not qualify in any of the physical standard test, i.e., height/weight/chest measurement shall not be allowed to appear in further recruitment process.
The candidates must possess the following minimum physical standard of height, weight and chest:
The candidates shall be examined by the Chief Medical Officer of the District to testify that they possess sound health and general physical fitness for outdoor work in Forest and Environment Department.
Physical Standard (05 Marks)
The bonus mark will be awarded to all categories as per their height (in cm) as follows, namely:-

Sports (10 marks):-
Candidates possessing sports and Athletics Certificate shall be awarded marks, in the following manner, namely:
A) Representing the Country and participating in a competitive International Sports meet/ Championship and winning medal.
- For a Gold medal (or first position ) = 10 marks
- For a Silver medal (or second position) = 09 marks.
- For a Bronze medal (or third position ) = 08 marks
B) Representing the State and participating in a competitive in open National Championship and winning medal.
- For a Gold medal (or first position) — 08 marks.
- For a Silver medal (or second position) = 07 marks.
- For a Bronze medal (or third position) = 06 marks.
C) Representing the State and participating in open National Championship without medal = 05 marks.
D) Representing the District / Circle in Junior / Senior / Inter- District meet in State Level Sports = 04 marks.
E) Sports achievement in the discipline other than 26 listed below shall not be considered for award of marks.

NOTE :- If a candidate fails to qualify in any of the above events, he/she shall be disqualified and shall not be allowed to participate in the subsequent tests or recruitment process.

- National Cadet Corps ”C” certificate — 5 Marks
- National Cadet Corps ”B” certificate — 3 Marks
- National Cadet Corps ”A” certificate — 2 Marks
Written Test : –
The candidate who qualifies in the Physical Standard Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test shall appear in a Written Test of 50 marks as follows
