Air Force Agniveer Sports Quota Recruitment 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the recruitment for Agniveervayu (Sports) under the 01/2025 intake. The official notification was released on 17 August 2024, with online applications open from 20 August to 29 August 2024. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website at agnipathvayu.cdac.in.

AGNIVEERVAYU SPORTS RECRUITMENT 01-2025

Important Dates:

Application start date- 20.08.2024
Application end date- 29.08.2024

Application Fee:

Registration fee of Rs. 100/- (plus taxes as applicable) is to be paid by the candidate for the online registration.

Age Limit:

Candidate born between 02 January 2004 to 02 July 2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.

Sports Achievements:

The individual should have represented the country in Junior/Senior International competitions recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOA) in any of the sports listed in Para 1.
The individual should have placed at least fifth in Junior National competitions or represented their State/Union Territory in Senior Nationals, All India Inter University competitions, or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports listed in Para 1.
In team events, the individual should have represented their state in Junior/Senior Nationals, All India Inter University Championships, or SAI (Khelo India National) in any of the sports listed in Para 1.

For Cricket Discipline Only:

Only candidates who have played in All India Inter-University or BCCI Trophies—U-19, U-23, Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy, Deodhar Trophy, or higher—are eligible to apply.

For Shooting Discipline Only:

Candidates with a National Ranking (NSCC) up to 50th in 10M Air Pistol & 10M Air Rifle, up to 30th in 50M Rifle 3P, or with International medals/participation are eligible.

Educational Qualification:

SCIENCE SUBJECT

OTHER THAN SCIENCE SUBJECT

(A)Candidates must have passed the 10+2/Intermediate exam with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized board, with at least 50% marks overall and 50% in English.
OR
(B)Candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma in Engineering(Mechanical, Electrical,Electronics,Automobile, Computer Science, Instrumentation Technology, or IT) from a recognized polytechnic with at least 50% overall and 50% in English (in the diploma or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English wasn’t part of the diploma).
OR
(C)Candidates must have passed a two-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board, with at least 50% overall and 50% in English (in the vocational course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English wasn’t part of the vocational course).

(A)Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
OR
(B)Candidates must have completed a two-year vocational course from a recognized board with at least 50% overall and 50% in English (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English wasn’t part of the vocational course).

Medical Qualification:

Height:-Minimum acceptable height is 152 cm.
Chest:-The chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed. Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cms.
Hearing:-Candidate should have normal hearing i.e able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
